Pål E Bratlie joined Wavetrain as CEO in 2023. He has a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, with a focus in microelectronics and safety, from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He has extensive leadership experience as Executive Vice President for various divisions in Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace since 2009. He is a dynamic and passionate leader with a strategic mindset and strong business acumen. Experienced Senior Executive managing large, complex organizations and programs both in domestic and international businesses. He has been a driver for change and long-term growth, always striving for efficiency and business mindset.

Per has a Master in Business and Economics from Norwegian School of Management BI, majoring in Marketing and Strategy. He has an extensive background holding various commercial managerial roles on several markets, and in complex international and multicultural matrix environments. Latest coming from leading international expansion and strategic development of both customers and partners of Norwegian MaaS/SaaS start-ups with disruptive technologies. He has extensive experience in international B2B and a long history of solid strategic focus and proven track record in highly competitive markets with strong demand for innovation.

Erling Thiis joined Wavetrain February 1st, 2024 from Yara Marine Technologies. He holds master degrees from NTNU and NHH, majoring in financing and industrial economics, respectively. Erling has wide-ranging executive experience from industrials, investment companies and tech scale-ups such as Elkem, Nord Pool, Kistefos, Kezzler and Geoknowledge. Core competencies include financing & fundraising, M&A, JV-development, divestment processes and negotiations.

Martin Jakobsson joined Wavetrain in May 2025 from Airthings. He studied electrical engineering at Lund University, majoring in embedded systems. Martin has held various leadership roles in project, team, and technical management, often within Scaled Agile organizations. He has extensive experience scaling IoT solutions with core competencies in embedded software, systems architecture and engineering org development.

Karita joined Wavetrain in 2014, after completing a BA in social sciences and research methodology from Lillehammer University College in 2008. She certified as a Quality Auditor in 2021 and has extensive experience with the development of Quality Management systems, work processes and structures. Since 2015 she has been responsible for certifying, retaining and maintaining the company´s ISO certificates, as well as Human Resources and HSE management, and is responsible for the establishment of the new Operations organization. She is now responsible for building the delivery and support organisation in Wavetrain.
