Key steps for simple and efficient installation of the Wavetrain Level Crossing Warning System (LCWS) in Bane NOR infrastructure involves specific pre-installation activities at the level crossing. This includes setting up civils for all components, installing a foundation for the LCWS control unit, and establishing cable troughing. Our mobile site survey kit from Wavetrain System simplifies fine tuning and commissioning on each specific site. Sensors are installed on the tracks, spaced 5-10 meters apart, with two sensors per rail. The LCWS control unit and warning measures are installed on pre-built foundations. Once power is connected, the warning time is adjusted to meet site-specific requirements, followed by system acceptance testing (SAT). The system operates autonomously but can provide automated alarms and updates using a mobile device.
